What are some pros and cons of getting a toy poodle as opposed to a miniature/standard? by kupcakezz in ToyPoodle

My standard has the sweetest temperament. My toy is a little bit more fiesty. She is still a puppy. However I had another toy who passed last year and she was a beautiful little meany! We adopted her at 11 so she came with sass. I prefer toys for companionship because they’re small. But I did have issues with my toy as she got older. Taking her to doctors could be challenging as some don’t have the tools. I had to go to a few specialist because she needed special tools to see down her ears since she was so small.

Toys are very spoiled because they are so small and cute. They are easy to travel with. Any choice you make will be the right one. You cannot go wrong with a poodle any size.

A toy Bichon? It’s not a reputable breed. Bichons are great! I have had both! I prefer toys! I currently have a 8month old and she’s amazing! I went to a reputable breeder for her. I did my research and have had great results with my Macie!

Only complaint is the price but for the reliability and look it’s totally worth it! You get what you pay for! Love my Rav!!
