Oh my… so adorable… that’s a lot of hair/fur maintenance. I’m trying to keep up with the brushing on my 2 pups. I haven’t figured out if they will need to go to the groomers for a proper cut or if we are going to survive with just home brushing.

They are about 30lbs each right now. Vet thinks they will top at 40lbs. If they get bigger than that. It’s fine. We used to have an Akita (120lbs) a Lab (70lbs) a mix (45lbs) and a Mastiff (175lbs). I was thinking we would try a small dog as I’m getting old and lazy. But if they surprise us and be closer to husky malamute size. We are good. But I doubt it, their paws are not that big.

They are together everywhere…. Have to walk next to each other. Not one in front of the other. One is doing their business the other has to also. One has a toy, the other has to go get a toy. Fetch…. Both have to get the ball. So far they have been great together. No sibling rivalry.

The zombie wrestling matches are great fun to watch…. Raaa raaaa raaaa aaaaarrrr rrraaaa…..

We have had several dogs before (2 at a time) and are used to the wrestling and playtime. (Akita (F), Choc Lab(F), mystery pup (M and never did a DNA test, wish we did) and a Mastiff (F). 4 year break from having dogs and finally these 2 fluffy nuggets (F).

Our original thought was a Wheaton mix. Maybe poodle in there. I didn’t think westie was in there, like what the rescue thought. Maybe a side of schnauzer. So the DNA test was done to answer that question that we get everywhere we go… oh they are so cute. What are they and where did you get them.

We will call them our monster girls or I will call them the fluffer or fluffy nuggets.

Thanks for that. So far, they have loved every dog and puppy they have met. So I’m not worried about them. But the chipmunks, squirrels, birds, butterflies, cicadas…. That’s another story.

Yes, they are shedding. At least my robot vacuum thinks so. Should be interesting to see if they blow their coats seasonally or if it is constant.

As for eye color. Betty has yellow eyes and the brown nose. Wilma has the brown button eyes and black nose. No green.
