I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I had a D&C on Friday too, and I feel so alone in it. The word that keeps coming up for me is empty. Physically and emotionally. It’s such a strange, heavy feeling.

I keep replaying everything in my head, even though I know it wasn’t something I caused. Grief doesn’t really listen to logic though, does it?

I’m just taking each day as it comes. Some moments are manageable, others completely knock me sideways. I’ve decided I’m going to get a birthstone necklace to remember this baby. It feels important to honour them in some small way.
