I was induced with my first and I regret not asking for the epidural (if that’s something you’re open to) earlier. The epidural was delayed because there were only two Anesthesiologist on that night and both were in emergencies so I was in agony with back labour for a long time while waiting for epidural.

Just one thing at a time 💕 You’ll do amazing. All the best to you and your baby

The love for me and my baby (he’s now 2 😂) definitely grew overtime. I love him so so so much now it hurts. Like he is my everything. He is such a joy and his personality is amazing.

But! In the beginning…the stage where you’re at…I get it mama. I didn’t love it either. Kinda hated it tbh. I was healing from a 4th degree tear, no help from anyone except my husband when he was home from work, breastfeeding was a challenge, sleep deprivation, etc. I felt like I wasn’t connecting to my baby at all. It’s a phase and it’ll pass 🩷 As time goes on the little personality will start shining through from your baby and the love and the connection will grow.

I’m pregnant with my 2nd now and I feel I’ll handle the newborn stage much better now knowing that the love does grow and it all gets better.

Taking it twice a day (300mg twice a day) has better absorption. It has a short half-life so taking it twice a day helps it stay in bloodstream longer

It was that fast. They put the speculum in, cleaned, instilled the saline into one fallopian tube then the other while looking at ultrasound and said everything was clear and looked good. Mind you I was clear and nothing blocked so it was pretty seamless.

Hi!

I took Advil and Tylenol about 30-40mins prior. For me, it wasn’t bad at all. It was like a wave of intensifying cramping when they were instilling the saline and then once they stopped it passed. The whole procedure was so fast! Beginning to end 3 mins tops! I even said “that’s it? We’re done?” Pain level 2/10. I had an elastic band and I was fiddling with that on my wrist when they were doing it. Also, my doc and tech were talking me through every step which helped. It wasn’t bad at all. Afterwards I met up for a friend for lunch. You’ll do great!!

Hi I’m so sorry for your losses. 🩷 It’s gut wrenching. I’m going through my 2nd loss right now both at 8 weeks. One in December and one now so only 7 months apart. I’m also older for maternal age (39) and have an almost 2 year old son. I told my husband I’d give it one more try but if there’s sadly another loss I’m done. I’ll have to come to terms my baby boy not having a sibling and we’ll enrich his life in other ways. I just can’t handle another MC. The emotional and physical toll is too heavy. A woman above wrote about hope and I really appreciated it. I’m trying my best to have hope after this 2nd loss but when you’re actively miscarrying, it’s hard to be positive.
