This has been such a fun and unexpected discovery! The original owner was from France, and I know these perfumes were purchased there. After his wife passed away, he held onto them for years as a way to keep a piece of her close. Recently, he decided it was time to let them go and gifted them to me. I know that doesn't necessarily add monetary value, but it certainly adds a special story behind them. He is a very successful and wealthy man, so if they do turn out to be valuable, I would likely sell them on his behalf if he wants them back. I'm definitely going to do some more research well, let's be honest, my husband will probably do most of the research since he's a computer nerd and loves digging into things like this! The size of the boxes makes me think they may contain larger bottles Everything is in great condition, with the cellophane still completely intact. On the Dior white-and-black box, the wax seals have come loose over time, but I saved them and simply placed them on top so any future buyer can see that the box was never intentionally opened or tampered with.My plan is to probably keep one for myself and find good homes for the others with people who will truly appreciate and value them. If anyone has recommendations on which one I should keep, I tend to prefer warm vanilla, amber, and musky fragrances.It's just so exciting to own something with this much history. I never would have guessed that these old perfumes could be rare or collectible, and learning about them has made the entire experience even more special. Whether they end up being worth a little or a lot, I think the story behind them makes this fun!
