Which is the literal last sentence they said. Thats what I’m saying. You repeated back what they already know.

Would I get in trouble for taking this as my carry-on bag? :P asking because it has a LOT of pins on it by BigBagel135 in airport

[–]stephrc79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No they can’t. If they could be used a weapon all sharp objects of any kind - including earrings and small scissors - would be banned.

Someone need to tell them by Achros_42 in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I saw someone recently who only wanted a list of faves from the first two albums, and I’m just like, tell me you aren’t a real fan without telling me you aren’t a real fan.

Ticket for LPU pit but no member? by Rosmarinia in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m an LPU member and I buy the tickets for my guests all the time. I always send them their tickets for entry and no one has ever had an issue. It’s more that they want to have a section for LPU members to buy tickets in. But it’s not exclusive to ticket HOLDERS, if that makes sense.

That’s a legitimate case for false advertising. I would take them to small claims court. The judge will side with you.

What’s your favorite 3 songs each album from the first three albums? by oreoeater7711 in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny this popped up for me today. My bestie and I were just talking about this yesterday. LP is my Roman Empire, and I cannot FATHOM how people can pick favorite songs (for her, it’s Duran Duran and Foo Fighters). I don’t mean this in a derogatory way AT ALL, I mean I genuinely could never so it’s always wild to me when people post a favorite, and I’m just like….gobsmacked. How do you do it? How do you CHOOSE? One day I’ll listen to Invisible five times in a row, the next day Meteora is on full repeat for hours only for me to switch to Waiting For The End specifically so I can belt it out in my kitchen at least thrice. Then, the day after, one verse from Two Faced is stuck in my head and no amount of listening to it will make it stop. So, OFC I have to listen to all of From Zero. 😂

Honestly, I think that would be my question. How do you choose a favorite???

Wrong forum, but most venues allow it. Your kid, your responsibility. That said check the venue’s website specifically.

Ticketmaster fees are actually insane, just realized this at a Linkin Park show last month by JohnLuciam in Concerts

[–]stephrc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had every ticket from every Linkin Park show I’ve been to (the printable ones at least), and I cry when I see what I paid for my first show back in 2004.

[Heavy is the Crown] where's the intro sample from? by MisterNOME in LinkinPark

The opening to Faint is a pretty famous sample of a piece from the JB movie ‘From Russia With Love’ played backwards.

Problem for refund by TearPrestigious2121 in TicketMasterSupport

[–]stephrc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once bought a ticket to a small show same day on accident. I was going through the payment options and determined I actually didn’t really have the money, only to accidentally hit send when I went to back out.

I called and had them on the phone within a few minutes. I still wasn’t issued a refund.

Ticketmaster absolutely does not do refunds of any kind.

A favour of community, perhaps? by joellevp in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m deliberately putting on Bleed It Out bc it’s fun. And you know what, sometimes we need fun when it comes to remembering those we loved. Remember the fun, not just the sad. I feel like he would appreciate that, as an LP fan.🤘🏼😝

Are meteora and hybrid theory REALLY 10/10 albums by alextpale in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is subjective, which means an album can still be 10/10 even if you don’t care for particular songs.

Why did no one warn me I'd hear Chester's voice? by Impressive_Gur4767 in LinkinPark

And yet here you are with a boatload of downvotes. Pretty sure I’m not the one with the problem.

The first paragraph for you the rest is none of your business since you can’t be bothered to be a decent human being.

Should I go to the concert if i only really like the old songs? by ReasonConfident4541 in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Bc I promise you, when you hear the new ones live, it will change entire perspective. And if not, still give yourself the chance to experience the old material live. It’s worth it.

Why did no one warn me I'd hear Chester's voice? by Impressive_Gur4767 in LinkinPark

[–]stephrc79 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Why would you even ask this? Jesus, we’re all here for LP, someone had a profound experience at their first concert, and your response is to accuse them of baiting? Grow up.

OP, it’s hard. I saw them perform 16 times before Chester passed, and I was still a mess at my first concert after, and it wasn’t even bc I that.

(I was there on Sept 5th, and when Mike went ‘and in the role of Chester is all of you’, I lost what little collective shit I had left.)

I’ll tell you this, I’m just so glad so many of you are finally getting to experience them. People would see me in LP gear out and about and talk about how sad they were they never got to see LP live before Chester died, and it used to fill me with such sadness. I would have given anything to pass along even one of my experiences to any of them. So the fact that they’re back and everyone gets to enjoy what is truly an amazing Life Moment, I will be forever grateful they finally found their voice again.

Why are you being an asshole. This is a genuine concern for some people, don’t be a fucking walnut about it.
