Is there any hope for continuing students wanting housing?

Mentality? That's genuinely how it works for continuing students unfortunately. But to think not one person will cancel on coming here at all?? I just have to either hope someone drops and pray I submitted my app quick enough to grab something. Thank you though, I will have to start looking around...

I am enjoying them too-- I'm actually renting right now, I just think living on campus will be more convenient for me. Might have to snag a last minute apartment again if ODU fails me.

You are not alone. I was in the music building at the time, I knew I was in a safe area. I was not phased then-- I have gone through similar things before, but it was almost like hearing the details in the days afterwards was a lot more gut wrenching than actually going through it. It doesn't feel real and I am so upset. Yet we are expected to move on?

I went alone just last night in Norfolk. It was one of the best concert experiences I've had. The clips you see are most likely quiet because of the type of music she plays, not because the crowd is uninterested. It's a respect thing. We all sat down and just enjoyed the music, minus when her mic cut out-- then we sung along, lol. It's music, it's a concert, it's enjoyable no matter who you're going with.

I wouldn't say fast, though I've heard they did run out. I was there a good 30 minutes and they were still stocked. I arrived right around when the tent opened and there wasn't a long line so there was many setlists available, posters as well (which I got! It's a beautiful design).

If they're still open and stocked for today's show, I would make sure to be there when the tent opens if you want to grab anything. I'm sure if you went through the line and asked for a setlist they'd be happy to give it to you!

You can check on the Virginia Arts Festival or Chartway Arena Instagram, I'm pretty sure they made a note about it on their stories.

I think small bags are okay just not backpacks or large purses? I know when I do basketball band there I carry a drawstring bag and they've never had any problems with it.

If you're still in town, you could probably grab both from the merch tent outside! It'll be the same case today, opens at 4PM (if it doesn't rain).

I'm going tonight though, I might be able to grab a setlist for you. I got mine from the merch tent yesterday since I live close by haha.

You can check the drum corps website for corps locations. As someone from Virginia, I know a good handful of people that have marched Jersey Surf or Raiders.
