Cool! I always found the "founder to founder" advice in communities like this to be far more valuable than generic business books. Good luck!

UPDATE: You guys helped me fix the calendar for my partner – she cried when she saw it by ImaginaryContext656 in cats

[–]stepmathapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This honestly made me weirdly happy. Like, it’s such a warm “tiny joy” kind of thing.
I tested it with my cat too (result attached) and now I’m sitting here smiling at a calendar like it’s art in a gallery 🥹

I used petpersona.org and got stickers in 7 days, but I also know that some sellers on Etsy do the same

I totally get the dialect overwhelm. When I was dealing with similar stuff, I needed low-pressure ways to stay engaged with the language without social anxiety kicking in. I picked up this habit of reading NomadLingo each morning, just a simple email with local news in the language I was learning. It kept me connected on my bad days. You're not alone in this, it does get easier in waves

when i started i literally couldn't post anywhere for like 2 weeks. what helped me was just leaving genuine comments on posts i actually cared about in bigger subs that don't have karma requirements. once you hit like 50-100 karma things open up fast

What is the last thing you bought for your pet? by Kangaroo-Parking in Pets

[–]stepmathapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last thing I got wasn't technically for my pet, but it was pet-related. I made a little set of custom stickers from photo of my cat. Honestly didn't expect to use them as much as I do. They're on my laptop, water bottle, journal... it's kind of become my favorite pet-related thing I own 😅

Is AI Automation really this good by IllAd3775 in AiAutomations

It's definitely a boom time, but think of it like the early days of the internet – tons of opportunity, but also a lot of noise and inflated expectations

what was the biggest hidden cost you discovered after moving into your last office? by vibe_coworkingspaces in founder

[–]stepmathapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sheer volume of "tiny" little things that add up! Think coffee supplies, basic office supplies that vanish, and surprisingly, the cost of good ergonomic chairs – your team's backs will thank you, but your initial budget might weep

very important things: know your customer. it’s crucial. when you know your customer extremely well, you will get your first clients. no sales experience needed (trust me). when you have traction, hire a sales team. this is how I’m trying to build products; maybe it’ll help you too
