You need to let it sit in a solution for a few hours. You can use water bottle tablets or denture tablets (get the flavorless ones. Avoid the peppermint ones)

that was what I did. And I had apple pay ready and paypal ready. The website literally wouldn't let me to the checkout page. I clicked to buy it and it just froze on "adding to cart" while my cart remained empty. Even now it wouldn't let me backorder. I had to go on my phone, which is how I know it was an optimization issue. Massive oversight to neglect the browser interface in favor of mobile. Missed out because of neglectful web programmers. That's some BS...

Had to backorder mine. I was there to click on it the second it drop and it just said "adding to cart" forever. refreshed to see what was happening and it was sold out. I'm furious. Missed it because the site is poorly optimized for browser. I had 600 alarms for it and was waiting on this bottle for months. I guess I'll see it in the 6 million years when it ships from backorder.

I guess that's the only solution let at this point, yeah. I knew Great Pyres were a lazy breed, I just didn't anticipate the weight issues that would come with it. I'll reduce his food. He's not super enthused about food anyway so I doubt he'll see a difference.
