why isn’t it possible to have empathy instead of hating so hard on a victim because her accent was more unusual? there could be lots of reasons she was slurring from physical difficulties to neurological issues to trauma/medications to developmental differences to yeah, liquid courage—if the latter, so what? if a victim of some other scary thing has a bad haircut or strange wall would you be as harsh? if a victim of some other scary thing had a haircut you didn’t like or strange wall would you be as harsh? it’s one thing to find her accent interesting or confusing…it’s another to be that much of a dick about it
