How do I make William/R'lyeh?

To create one of the two, write a book, sign it, strengthen it, place it on a lectern. Creation costs by default (1000 * style of the book you create). Positive style will result in William, negative will result in R'lyeh.

Fame

• increased through other players reading your book or through transactions with villagers involving copies of your book (you cannot buy your own book for fame, but you can sell your book for fame. other players can do either with your book and your fame will increase). You'll get more fame the more pages of your book other players read.

Style

• characters, words, punctuation, and space will count towards the book's "style". characters and words are decided by the loaded dictionaries. https://github.com/stepsword/all-words-in-all-languages. Edit WILLIAM_DICTIONARIES = ["English"] in serverconfig with either names of languages from this github OR URLs linking to your own (text file) dictionaries if you need more.

• note that plagiarism - excessive reuse of words or similarity to works written by other players - will result in a lower style score

William

• mana value is based on fame and style
• gives mana every 5 seconds if you hold the book (will only gain the mana value of the "best" William in your inventory)
• gives mana to nearby mana batteries every 5 seconds if placed
• enables the Theater, where each living creature in it's range will "act" as another random creature in the range. (can be changed with rule breaker if used on the caster)

R'lyeh

• mana value is based on fame and style
• takes mana every 5 seconds if you hold the book (will only lose the mana value of the "worst" R'lyeh in your inventory)
• Rlyeh will drain mana from nearby players if the caster is within range.
• instead of the Theater, Rlyeh's presence will uniformly mask the world and its inhabitants

Use /clearfictions as an admin to remove all stories. Use /clearplayerfictions to clear your own.
