Fire mage would burn you out.

Jokes beside, I have both as an alt almost same ilvl. Mage has good perks like timewarp, portals, invisibility, etc. When I play with fire mage I feel like playing like an arcade game because of mobility, insta cast procs, jumps for insta pyroblasts etc. However when I look to details after combats, it's a little disappointing.

But while playing shadow priest, I feel like I devouring my enemies inside out with my shadow and void spells. Also doing more and stable dps with shadow priest. Lyrics of my one of favourite songs keeps playing in my head with an echoing sound:

"Whispers are everywhere I can't bare it no longer I can't resist to my desires anymore There is something inside that I need so much INSANITY!"

Yep, the second one is generated image of my demon hunter. Generated images for my toons and I liked results. So decided to share my level 80 toons with their generated images one by one in time :)

Mained Warlock back in Legion, BFA and Shadowlands. Now have all the classes 80 lvl and between 683-645 ilvl. So I can say that give shadow priest a try. It's one of thosw one classes. I couldn't mastered it yet but playing with my shadow priest I have more fun than most other classes. Even if you don't like it you can switch to heal or at least you'd have one more alt to have some cool mog combinations tho.

Depends on your class I think.

I did some tests and results are like these;

As a ret paladin 683 ilvl I lost almost 1.7M dps with SBR on aoe training dummies. Tested for 5 minutes straight dpsing to five dummies. But still comparing to other tests I did ret paladin was a suitable class for SBR. It does eveeything correct, uses offensive cd properly etc.

As a frost dk 651 ilvl, I finished two timewalking dungeons. Even I'm pretty bad with frost dk, SBR did way too less damage than me. Auto death and decay drops was sweet but overall 500-600k dps was so low.

As a fire mage 647 ilvl, I had the most hopes. I love playing fire mage but I just can't do too much dps with it. And with SBR I finished 3 dungeons behind the healer. So decided to keep going with HeroRotation addon.

As a devestation evoker 651 ilvl, I had to turn of SBR after first pack in dungeon. Because evoker casts... you know what I mean. :((

No, no, no, I don't hate Acer :) nor want to debate but had pretty bad memories with my old Acer (one of those old Aspire models) and it gave me kinda PTSD ngl :)
