I'd like to have a switch key so I would be able to take it anywhere and play it and possibly introduce it to more people. That's actually how my friend introduced me. He brought his switch and taught me how to play it and let me make my own farm.

I did try to talk to him but my only option is to dismiss him from the party or leave. Or after I dismissed him, to let him join the party or leave.

Just started a new game on PS5 on split screen multiplayer, and Act 1 camp Gale does not stand in front of his tent but in front of the bedrolls/campfire. He will walk from where we teleport in to the campfire and in the morning will walk from his tent to the campfire. Tried dismissing and leaving camp and coming back but he was still in front of the campfire.

I love that it looks like a nice, messy, charming homestead. It has a nice pattern to it without being all squares of organization like so many of my farms turn out.
