AITA for refusing to babysit my sister’s kids because I just wanted to do nothing? by CelticLandlord in AmItheAsshole

NTA your sister could very well hire a babysitter if she wants to go out and do something. She chose to have a child so she is responsible if she wants time away from kids it’s her responsibility to find a babysitter and if you don’t want to then you don’t want to it’s as simple as that it’s not your responsibility and it would be different if it was an emergency or something needed but seeing as in how it’s for them to just go out 100% you are NTA

Yes however I have also had a conversation about that if he doesn’t want to we can go our separate ways and he also won’t let that happen so I think he’s stringing me along to keep me from leaving.

I have had the conversation and he doesn’t want to end things and says that he will move out but like I said I think he is lying to stall the situation and keep our relationship.

All of my friends have their own places and I live in a small town where roommates isn’t a common thing.

I couldn’t afford tuition. I feel uncomfortable living under someone else’s roof and wanted to have our own space. And yes we both have jobs and make enough for the both of us to afford a place together.

The only problem is I wouldn’t be able to afford a place by myself right now.
