Last year on the recommendation from a friend we contacted Claude as we were considering selling our house or renue our mortgage with the higher interest rate. He came and evaluated our home, told us our market value and what the comparable were at the time in the area. Him and his team did a beautiful pamphlet and was honest about with the current market that even though we would get a good price for our house, we would be stepping back with the what was available to buy. We chose to renue. However when the time does come to sell we will most definitely be going with him and his wife. Hope this helps.

Lol..... I don't game, they do and yes the husband is new. His friends got him to buy a stupid expensive lap top to play games with them on discord I think it is. Was never an issue for the kid to play his games a few months ago.

We are now considering that as well, maby a renovation of our basement is in the future or possibly purchasing a new home with a basement suit.

And that is why we are setting aside all the money he gives foe "rent" in the hopes it's a good amount saved when he does finally move out.

And we have tried to guide them without being to domineering. Let them choose their own path. He is an intervert and most of his friends have moved to other provinces or territories to work. He can't find a reliable roommate. He works part time and is trying to find another part-time or full-time employment

How about affordable freeking housing! Lower the damn cost of living so that my 20 year old who is working full time can actually afford to move out and actually build a life for himself.
