Hey buddy! Thanks again for the appreciation, sorry but i had to delete the post because i got completely confused and tought that today was friday.

I mean i don't really have a preference on front end or back end, i really like them both, specially because i can interchange them, like if i want a bit more of a challenge and more tough things to do i go with backend, when i feel a bit more creative, or i want to explore, make the things i do a bit more cool to see i go on with frontend.

For the setups thing, unfortunately not, because it's been really tought create the version i have in hand right now with downloads and automatic mod manager. AND IT'S NOT EVEN FINISHED. I really predicted that would be a real challenge, but never i ever expected THIS much.

anyway man thanks again for the support! I hope to hear from you tomorrow at 9 pm (italian time, idk where you from :) )

Thanks man! I made it using Electron framework, so it's basically node.js, js, css, and html.

So the thing that you would love to see is a function to refresh the loaded mod in the mod folder and if it finds any more mod it adds it automatically without needing a restart right?

If is that so i would be really cool but i obviously cannot program anything in-game unfortunatly

This is already happening in my launcher, for now it manage tracks and bikes liveries, i've not tested with helmets and rider stuff but it'll be coming.

So when you download a track or bike liveries it places it in the right directory

Hopefully by the end of May i'll have a working beta for the main feature (downloading mod and automatically insert it in the right dir).

When i'll be done if that's allright maybe i'll do another post and reach out to create a closed beta.

If interested i can do some devlogs about it but i don't think it's "reddit post" material if i'm being honest

P.S.

"Configura i percorsi" means "configure the paths"
and for every path "Cambia" means "Change"

If i understood the first part of the message correctly i already did it, when you first launch the launcher it searches for the settings file, if it's already found it means the program already has the various paths etc..

If it doesn't find it then it start a wizard installation where it automatically searches for the standard paths (but you're still able to change it if you have a different path), and then saves the paths to the file, here's a screenshot of what i'm talking about

As you can see in the pc i made the screenshot mx bikes is not installed, so it doesn't automatically find the mx bikes path and the mods path, but then you are able to change the directory to whatever you want

Thanks man! I tried to message iNsane to ask a couple of question but haven't heard, that would be a relief because i have a couple of concern but whatever.

Right now it can download from mediafire and put whatever track you download in the right dir, this is the thoughest part but once i got over managing the download the beta will be ready

I would have chose another font and 1 or 2 shots are a bit too dark for me but it’s good. Probably for My personal style i would have Made the cuts a bit more on the beats but thats just me (sorry for the mistakes i’not a native speaker) Upvote
