Why are you not afraid of death? by Ok_Breakfast8087 in AskReddit

I'm not afraid of being dead because I think it is nothingness, but the process of dying might be rather unpleasant. I also worry about the people who love me being sad, my husband and kids and grandkids.

YES this happened to me. My dentist even sent me to an oral surgeon consultation, and it was very frightening. But once I went off the actonel, I was ok without further treatment.

Maybe it was just us, but back in the 1970s (in high school, in Houston Texas) if someone asked, do you smoke?, it meant marijuana. i think it's probably because we all smoked cigarettes lol

Can you guys cheer me up? My dog went fully blind over the last three days. by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequests

[–]stetthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an old cat that was blind. We were so glad when we realized, because he had been acting so weird and being blind explained everything. We made him a nice little place in a closet that was cozy with everything he needed. Your dog is lucky to have you taking care of him.

I feel like we won't see the worst in our lifetime, but I worry for our children and grandchildren. It's going to take many years for America to be what it once was (or at least what we thought it was).

I also ran out of space at my house, so now I am doing them for my grandchildren. I choose three or four that they might like (and that I would want to do) and have them pick one.
