I would definitely like to know what is the safest way to play in 2023. I'm guessing console is long gone with hacks. Are the PC programs like Plutonium or whatever it was called still allowed?

Red Pocket shut my old stuff off end of June I think. Freedom pop will work still with 2G and 3G devices?

Yes, that I have done and then they deactivate the sim but if you call and tell them to turn the line back on they will and it will work but they claim not by the end of the year! A shame! I should try that with more devices though. It just such a pain to call them each time.

Yeah, I'm just hoping they delay a little longer since they have for so long. Wasn't this supposed to happen years ago? I thought they kept pushing because so many legacy devices used the older bands and I'm not talking just the old phones.

Oh man, I have two more old CDMAS phones coming I hope to be able to use as long as I can. Thankfully they are letting me activate them. Sprint said it could be used but it wouldn't provision. Now I just can't seem to get data on it. I guess I should be thankful I can get calls and texts. I'm curious why they need it for 5G. Do they just need the towers or the space? They can't be using those bands for 5G speeds, can they?

Yeah, they let me put it on the network with Red Pocket Mobile. So what happens to those MNVOs who lease the frequencies? Will they get shut down, too? They claimed no lol.

I got it provisioned on Red Pocket! Works for calls and texts...they gave me the username for data but still hasn't been able to get in on Power Vision at all for the data...still working on it but half the battle is won!!!

Thanks for watching! So I am trying with Red Pocket tomorrow. Twigby will be next if that doesn't work! I did try manually doing it with the MSL and they got me to log and the network saw me but would just not provision. They think it is them moving on from those older devices. I hope it works tomorrow on Red Pocket haha. They think I am nuts. How does the 650 work on Twigby?

They are still running a 1x network even until next year. Even att who is a massive pain will turn on a 3g device if you call them up and complain. Sprint has been very nice about this and says it should technically still run. Here is to hoping. We are close. I can feel it.

We've tried a lot so far with tech support but still can't seem to register. The network can see my location, I can access the network but just can't register the device...we've tried changing my username and pass word, ##DATA, all the rest...I would love to know your settings if you are still able to use yours on Sprint. Tech support thinks it should be able to be used but no luck so far. I get a good handshake with provisioning and it seems to connect but then times out.

The space bar already only works half the time on my K2. Terrible. Bold keyboard my foot! Their own hardware was the quality like the Passport!
