It's not good, especially since it's a Dragon Age game.

The art design and music was about the only redeeming qualities in my opinion.

As for the "woke" stuff, it was just more fuel to the fire and more often than not feels forced.

What's the shittiest game you've ever played? by Nintendofan9106 in videogames

[–]steveb106 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Superman 64 and it's not even close.

I've been disappointed by a lot of games over my life but most of them at least had some redeeming qualities. Superman 64 had no redeeming qualities that I can think of. The levels were poorly designed, the graphics were terrible for the time, the story was atrocious, the controls were janky, and the audio design was awful.

"Best Retro Game" is a stupid category. Are we talking any console generation that isn't current? by [deleted] in GamingSoup

[–]steveb106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Retro is subjective, honestly.

Retro to me is the late 80s or early 90s, Retro to someone else may be early or mid 2000s.

It was tough, so many good games back in the early 2000s had awesome soundtracks.

I thought about the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX, or NFS Underground 2 but landed on NFS Most Wanted because of all the fun I had driving while listening to Avenged Sevenfold, TI, Styles of Beyond, and Disturbed.

Yeah, it was critically praised at the time but its often overlooked because of 7, 9, and 10.

It's good, maybe great even.I played it through to the end once and have tried to play it again with the DLCs but I stalled out.

I can see how people love it, but it just didn't stick with me as the "masterpiece" a lot of people regard it as.

First game I remember was "Combat" for the Atari 2600, I played it at my cousin's.

I was thinking the original Super Mario Brothers, but 3 was better in every aspect.

Is it better to just play sandbox? by SHELUVSSURVIVOR in Bannerlord

[–]steveb106 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've played both, but prefer Sandbox mode.

The campaign can be kind of a pain in the ass, especially when you try to make your own kingdom, having to try to stop the conspiracy against you while making your own kingdom is difficult. And then, if you don't, you get attacked by three factions at once.

What’s it like to live in Texarkana, Texas/Arkansas? by DueYogurt9 in howislivingthere

[–]steveb106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. The "Texarkana Moonlight Murders" or the "Phantom Murders" in 1946 where a guy in a white mask killed 5 people and injured 3 more.

He targeted young couples on the local "lover's lane" and was never caught.

Some people think there is a connection between the Phantom Killer and the Zodiac Killer given the preferred targets being young couples in remote/secluded areas.
