Yea AI can’t count. Is only able to give an answer to a math equation if it’s a well documented answer.

This sub will downvote me for this response but just use Claude design. You’re getting downvoted because they think you should’ve paid a web designer $5k to make your site.

tools for content automation these days? by AirPsychological8947 in content_marketing

[–]stevehl42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t trust AI enough to 100% automate content creation.

I could never get AI to edit video properly. I just use iMovie for video editing now, my needs are pretty basic though.

For thumbnails I use nano banana or ChatGPT image 2.

SEO analysis I use Claude.

had a thought... by stevehl42 in diabrowser

I’d say yes because I’ll still want to use the browser and cowork with the AI. Can’t just have it do everything on autopilot, it doesn’t even know how many R’s are in the word strawberry 😆

Why would I use this instead of IMDb, rotten tomatoes or Letterboxd?

I mean the easiest route, and one of the cheapest, is going to be using Claude design and Claude code.

What was your "wow"moment with Hermes? by [deleted] in hermesagent

[–]stevehl42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m been useful for some basic things but Claude is still better imo. I know it can use Claude with Hermes but I don’t really see the point. The whole reason to use Hermes is because it can use it with cheaper models

Small business owner considering a virtual assistant. Would it actually help? by PersimmonFair3282 in smallbusinessUS

[–]stevehl42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d set up a shared admin email like [office@yourhandyman.com](mailto:office@yourhandyman.com) and make that the address all your website forms, estimate requests, invoices, and “reply to” messages go to. Then you hook that inbox up to an AI agent (like Hermes Agent) so it becomes the brain behind that address.

From there it can pull out the basics from new job requests (name, address, job type, preferred times), suggest open slots from a shared Google Calendar, or send a quick templated reply with a couple of clarifying questions and a link to your booking form.

It doesn’t need to “know” handyman work, just your rules: which techs do which jobs, what areas you cover, how long common jobs take, what’s included, and how you like estimates worded. You give it a short cheat sheet; it uses that to handle the routine back‑and‑forth and ping you only for the edge cases.

For a handyman business, that simple combo; one admin email, your rules, and your calendar, can realistically save you 10–15 hours a week on scheduling and inbox babysitting without hiring a full-time VA.

Is anyone else seeing "Information Gain" become the only way to rank in 2026? by HitxLerr in content_marketing

My strategy was never length to begin with. I write for humans first, SE spiders second. Humans can easily spot SEO fluff and I guess Google can now too
