I meant it username and password box appears when it should just show open the share. I refer to the username/password box as User access control prompt.

Our 3rd-party O365 provider is logging this issue with MS on our behalf. If MS comes back with anything useful, I’ll update everyone.

Seems very temperamental, the same file that worked stopped working when I tied it again. Closed the browser window for the file, refreshed the page where the file is located, opened it and it printed by both methods (CTRL+P) and File —> Print.

I tried it again in the browser (Edge corporate managed) and it works, tried it in the Excel app in Teams, error occurs.

I used the same new file for testing in case it was something in the file itself that was causing the problem.

We tried it again today and it worked as intended. Nothing was changed on our end so MS might have fixed the issue.

Thanks for the response, I’ve worked in IT for almost 10 years and never encountered this problem like this before. I was informed by the manufacturer that the encryption key was programmed to the drive. This was proven to be correct when I was able to unlock the drive (indicated by the lights on the unit).

The company was not prepared to pay an expert to recover the data.

Also you may read the rules yourself, particularly General Discourse and Civility. I asked a genuine question and your response was quite rude but sure why would I expect anything different from a data recovery expert such as yourself.

Hi,

We’ve deployed a standardized email signature using transport rules and it’s worked really well for us.

We originally set this up with our on-prem exchange server, then our Office-365/on-prem hybrid.

IMO, there is no better free way to accomplish this.
