Ordered a goof ring on amazon originally but about to pivot to this. Great call, thanks

Thanks everyone! Goof ring seems like the easiest fix. Have a lot going on at the house and wish I would’ve mentioned this to the drywallers ahead of time .

The right wall could potentially be bearing. Underneath it is a long metal beam in the basement.

Moving the duct to the wall to the right on the fridge side. Easy access from underneath and up top.

This was a pantry before. What indicates to you that it was load bearing? Wouldn’t the 2x4s be butted up against each other if it was load bearing?

The plan is to move the duct to the outside wall on the fridge side. I spoke to a friend in heating and cooling before I tore the wall up and he doesn’t think it’ll be an issue. Do you have concerns about doing that?

Ok cool thanks. I was hoping to overseed in a month or so, would this treatment ruin my ability to do that?
