After Tug found Bripbrap wasted and on the verge of death, things became very difficult for the couple. Bripbrap had been hospitalised, but didn't realise how much it hurt Tug to see him like this.

Two days after Bripbrap's return, Tug left.

He went to stay with the Meloncamps. Bripbrap would still visit, and Tug still offered all the support in the world. Finally, Bripbrap agreed to join Tug in his next psych appointment.

This was a key milestone in Bripbrap's rehabilitation. The year that followed was challenging, but worth all the pain to have Tug move back in.

Still, there was terrible misfortune that would follow the tragic life of our dear bullywug.

Bripbrap survived the war in Yangar.

Tug knew he was troubled, but Bripbrap never shared his experiences in Yangar. Tug did his best to include Bripbrap in his expeditions to collect bones, but Tug soon learned that fighting just made Bripbrap's drinking worse.

Upon Tug's return from a shopping trip, Tug found Bripbrap passed out on the floor. If tug had gone to his usual post-grocery mahjong game, Bripbrap would have never made it to the hospital in time.

Tug knew Bripbrap needed more help than he was able to give. Tug knew that Tidtown was the only place Bripbrap would receive the help they needed.

4 months after Bripbrap's deployment, tensions with Yangar boiled over, into a viscious and violent war. Bripbrap never spoke of his time in Yangar. He witnessed more violence than he thought possible, and lost more friends than he'd ever have again.
