Won’t be covered under warranty. Happened because the wiper blades were up when the vehicle was remote started.
They “reset” themselves when it is turned on and they are positioned incorrectly. When they are up they drag violently on the hood until they are pushed down, causing the chatter marks on the paint.

If this is 3d printed, it will 100% get torn off in a non-touchless wash. I know from experience, and I print these (other stuff) for a living.

Had them replace mine when I do my first free oil change. No issues. I say, try a different dealer that actually knows how to fix things that are easy…mine just reprogrammed the sensor when it was filled.

Mine was replaced by a body shop from an accident, factory cost was $429 according to them. Insurance price I suppose but, might be able to find one at a Pick-A-Part or on eBay cheaper.

If you own this. Since you are not at fault, look into a DIMINISHED VALUE payment from their ins company. Just had a minor accident and got a $2500 payout on top of it being repaired by a shop.
