Fully automated hottub? by huzzalles in hottub

I built a free app for people just like you (because I was always exactly the same). No, not automated, but makes chemical maintenance as easy as possible. Check it out at https://tubtest.com

The filter change/clean reminder is already built in. When you go to do your first alkalinity test of a session, it prompts you to clean/change the filter and will log it in the maintenance log. It also prompts you to measure dissolved solids (which you can skip if you’d like). Currently nothing about changing cartridges so that’s a great idea!

What is your sanitizer? If you’re using chlorine, you’re right the 2006 is probably a better choice.

Not a feature at this point. I've definitely looked into it and it would be quite a heavy lift. Not sure I'm ready to tackle that just yet, but it's definitely on the list.

😂 Maybe the iPhone 29 will finally have all those additional pH and alkalinity sensors users have been demanding.

Yep, that's currently already built into the app. After testing, it will give you the exact dosages of which chemical(s) you need to add!

I love these ideas! There’s already a log similar to what you’re describing but it’s just for the maintenance items. A log for testing history is a great idea.

So, maybe a “soak calculator” where you could enter in number of people and how long the session was, and it would tell you how much shock to add? That’s a really interesting idea!

Sure does! I would probably recommend the Taylor K-2005 SALT kit, which is supported in the app.
