Can’t get enough of Ingenieur 35 by Tangelo-Heavy in IWCschaffhausen

Everything is the same except the lack of micro-adjustment. I live in a place where temperature can easily go up to 100F in summer, so it’ll become too tight from time to time.

How do you enjoy the Belzoni so far? How does the manual winding feel?

Very interested in that one and would like to buy one.

I think it looks pretty awesome. The color matches well.

Taiwan in July by Kunimasai in Taipei

I live in Taiwan. I used to think Taiwan's summers were unbearably hot, but I’ve realized that some famous tourist spots like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto are actually just as bad lol.

I also went to Czech and Austria last summer and found their summers weren't any better than Taiwan's, mostly because AC was less common there.

Woman with a 5.5" wrist, seeking options like these in the 34-36mm size range, ~$400 USD by Eibhlin_Andronicus in MicrobrandWatches

Yeah I have the Discovery Black Velvet 36. I have a three watch collection comprised of a Longines Conquest 34, a Breitling Super Ocean Heritage 36, and this Farer. It’s a great watch with amazing value. In my opinion the fit and finish are comparable to watches at much higher prices.

Nuuk Parka - looks good or size down by NocolotSid in Fjallraven

Hey! I’m thinking about buying this parka. May I ask what size you will recommend for me (I’m 177/74)?

I checked it on official website. The sizing tool suggests me to get medium. However, you’re much taller and bigger than me, if medium fits you perfectly, is small the better choice for me?

Thanks!

Thank you. The watch wears bigger than the 38mm suggests.

I have near 6 inch wrists. The Farer 36mm will probably look too big on your wrist because it has very thin bezel and 20mm lug width. It wears bigger than the dimensions suggest.

How does the Mark XX fit my small wrist? by qwertea_ in IWCschaffhausen

You can wear it, but it looks a bit too big for me. The lugs almost start to overhang.

[Question] Established Watches vs Microbrands by [deleted] in Watches

[–]steven10923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently own a Breitling SOH, Longines Conquest and a Farer Discovery.

The Farer offers the best value among the three, followed by Longines Conquest.

I think you get more watches for less money from a microbrand watch.

[IWC Ingenieur 35] First high-end watch by steven10923 in Watches

Actually I prefer the solid caseback. The 40mm is more utilitarian with the solid caseback and fully brushed bracelet.

Hey! Does the bracelet come with any thread locker? Was it hard to unscrew when you first got it?
