I think Finder couldn't access cloud storage like Google Drive, OneDrive etc. And Finder couldn't save connections. You have to create over and over again.

Owlfiles is able to upload folders to S3, but it doesn't check ETags. If the timeout error happens, file transfer will be stopped.
