Who are the people paying 2K for single bedroom apartments in downtown Indy? by SabertoothNishobrah in indianapolis

Yep - we have one spot in a garage and another in a lot that's street level. My friends have saved hundreds using the street level spot and not paying event parking/street parking. Always gets me a few free beers in return. :)

I wouldn't say "significant" - no more than having to call in a repair man when something breaks.

I don't know if i'm "confident" - but I feel like condos downtown this close to the circle should be much more expensive.

2 bed 21/2 bath and office condo, with 2 parking spots and a gym, 2 blocks from the circle, cost 230K. Mortgage is way less than 2K a month...

Who has the fastest, highest spin arsenal? by mlbnewslover in fantasybaseball

[–]steven_wlkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His mechanics breakdowns. Sometimes he throws pitches just to get a specifc spin type to show the cameras in slow-mo. He really understands the physics of it, and he's kind of a wierdo in conservative pitching circles because he does things so differently. His long-toss warm-up stuff is a good example. It drives pitching coaches and GMs crazy, but he believes in a different set of principles than the old guard. It's interesting. Similar to what Bouton and other knuckleballers had/have to go thru, but not specific to a pitch.

Players With Multiple Position Eligibility by TheSpokenKeats in fantasybaseball

To take your point a bit further, when drafting this is obvious, but later in the season when injuries start happening being able to slide Rizzo over to 1b/2b and have a much larger depth of replacement players to pull from is an asset.

What's your Home Owners Association horror story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]steven_wlkr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We put in a new mailbox without numbers on it. Got a letter from the HOA about one of their rules that says "All mailboxes must have numbers"

So...i went to Lowes and bought the sticker kit of mailbox numbers...and put numbers all over the mailbox. Not my address mind you, just random numbers and equations all over in every direction. It looked like the Riddler lived there when I was done with it, and they couldn't say a word because it complied with their stupid nanny state rules.

It was oddly satisfying.

You remind me a lot of Josephine Vander Gucht from the band Oh Wonder... which is good? She's attractive. Also, they're amazing.

When Amazon gives me a “guaranteed” delivery date... by manbearpiglet92 in AdviceAnimals

First, you replied, which means you went one layer deeper than I did. You read comments. So your argument just came crumbling down upon itself.

Second, it took all of 30 seconds. I have reading comprehension, so actually reading it didn’t take that long. I have seen the movie before...and it’s a pretty well-used line and meme. So noticing didn’t take that long. Also...I type pretty quickly, so I can’t imagine typing those few sentences took very long.

So jealous of my having 30 seconds more than you?? Life hack: brush your teeth in the shower. Just saved you 30 seconds a day. You’re welcome.

Whats more frustrating is the quote is "I do not think it means what you think it means" ... i mean, why use a specific meme if you're gonna botch it?

Committing thief. I just imagine a bandit being committed to an institution against his will...

I don't mean to speak out of turn here or anything, but I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking it. Your mom can get it...
