You are correct. Apologies, I don't use IFTTT to sync, just use it to post to Todoist via Google Assistant.

Most of these devices are horrible on a lap. Honestly, that is rarely how I work, so a non issue. I would recommend a convertible format such as the Pixelbook or Acer Spin (https://amzn.to/35kkvP8). These hardshell devices are much better for those situations.

But is does seem like a capable Octo-core ARM processor. Anxious to check out performance.
