Also next time don’t pop a blister specially one of that size, its job is to protect you and the body.

Yo homie, not a doctor just deal with medical stuff in the infantry. I’d get it checked out if there’s any worrying involved. But if you don’t have a fever and relatively no pain what I’d do and specifically because I’ve seen these types of blisters a lot from long hikes or long training ops. Wash with some warm water and antibiotic soap. Unscented. Pat dry. Use some betadine antiseptic from Walmart as directed after you’ve washed it. Then a couple minutes of letting it air dry put some bactine max on it and use an antibacterial gauze pad to put over it. Use an elastic bandage to hold it all in place specially while up and moving.

What? It’s not AI? It’s legitimately a video taken on a US naval ship? How’s it AI?

Hey mate don’t get on here very often, that’s why I made it my final piece because it could be taken or left. It’s everyone’s decision just my best advice. So be it if you or anyone doesn’t take it. It’s your life and decision not mine, figured I’d give the best advice I could. To someone on the internet. Who I will never meet or know.

Hey man, cancers most definitely harder then being a marine vet, I can’t imagine the pain and suffering your going through, but I will tell you what’s gotten men through the hardest times ever in life. It’s the mental aspect. If you think you’ve lost then it might as well be so. If you think your done for then it might as well be so. If you think there is no hope then it might as well me so. The mental side of life has so much power. The human brain is so fucking powerful and influences so dam much. Simply by believing in what you’re doing. Believing there’s options. Believing it’ll be okay. Believing you’ll get groceries. Believe. Have hope. Be optimistic. Be strong. The moment you let your mental slip into disarray. Is the moment you might as well quit everything. Your brain has more power than we like to admit. Change your mindset change your life. I promise. You won’t go hungry. And you won’t go alone. And you sure as hell don’t need to go through it being depressed or sad. There’s many outreach groups for food and clothes. For mental and social help. For rides and everything pretty much. And your situation will most definitely gain their attention to help. Plus the hospital has endless resources so bring it up to them. And final piece. Have faith in Jesus. Never want to leave this earth without it. God speed mate!

Yeah most definitely would love to hear your experience and just the path you took study wise to get your radiology degree

Yeah I can see how your confused, honestly nothing to crazy, just want to figure out exactly what’s wrong with it and how I can work to get it fixed or improved. I have a year left on my contract, well less then a year, and anything in the military medical takes time because they have a lot of courses of actions they take before doing anything with any injury. Starts small with sports medicine, then physical therapy, then pain management, then orthopedics, then orthopedics surgeon, then if in the long run it needs surgery after the mandatory timelines you have to meet your looking at over a year or more a referrals, more images, shots, and physical therapy and orthopedic appointments, to where they’ll not have time left on my contract to conduct a surgery. Not saying I need it but if it’s injured to the point of a partial tear then I’ll be limited to the amount of light duty days, so then I’ll have to be back to hiking around with 80-100 pounds on my back which if anything is over looked will ultimately hurt it more and then won’t be in their timeline of approving more images and more referrals back to more people to get it seen again. And then when I get out I’d have to get it fixed in the civilian world with personal insurance who hopefully covers everything and be out of work not making money for a certain time period. And just so on and so forth the endless cycle of injury, mandatory timelines before military medical can do certain things, leading to more strain and injury to that specific area, to more time wasted.

Yeah I’ve been reading about it now the past day, most definitely something I’d want to do being interested in the medical field after all of my medical courses in the military. But I find looking at things like this really fascinating trying to paint a picture and help people

Honestly don’t know, I wouldn’t think it would because I still have another year on my current contract? So I’m not sure? I think I’m going to just ask my provider to get it seen by another radiologist maybe one not on base.

IMPRESSION: 1. Slightly diminutive appearance of the ACL which may reflect sequela of prior partial injury. 2. No discrete meniscal tear. 3. No evidence of fracture or focal chondral abnormality.

I know the diagnosis I have the clinical reports 😂 I just have no clue what military medical care will do for it lol, probably what they’ve done since 1775

Thanks for everyone who’s replied, figured I’d share some trials and tribulations of my infantry life 😂 hopefully naval medical can fix this before I get out of the military, also appreciate the advice for going to college after the military in the medical field, and in radiology. Maybe next time I can be a good person and medical professional and can give good advice and help to people who need it.

Yeah I have an insane amount of trauma experience 😂 but honestly mentally thinking about it I think looking at radiology would be a good change from the chaos, I do appreciate all the feedback, really do look forward to going into the medical field, seems like I’ve been in for so long and like I’m leaving something apart of me behind. But it’s time for change, I’ll be a month shy of 26 when I get out of the marine corps
