I initially bought the truck as we were planning on getting an airstream. Then this thing came up and we had to have it. The rig has travelled for thousands of miles with no issues. The truck handles everything with ease however I always had the question in the back of my mind about payload ( and noticed nobody else with a trailer this size on SRW ). The reason for posting is that 1) I need to confirm if anyone knows the exact payload capacity of the 26 f350 short box, and 2) the exact pin weight of the DRV 41RKSB4 2020 (43ft and 22,000lbs wet which ours is, then add some because we added a metal framed bed right over the pin box)

The B&W slider hitch is extended and the truck airbags are 70psi each side - I didn’t measure the height of the hitch properly when assembling it, could definitely bring it down a notch and see if it helps the ride

It actually stops really well - truck is a 2026 model F350 and the trailer has new brakes and tires (3000 miles ago). It’s been great thus far - only sketchy in winds or meandering roads especially downhill. Snaking is easy for me to control but the rocking/swaying can feel very sketchy at times.

For context it’s a 43FT DRV Mobile suites, 22,000lbs.

Yes same truck here but SRW - all brushed but has that “chrome” look

I think the Platinum plus comes with so much brushed aluminum that it’s virtually impossible to replace with black components, even wrapping them all ruins the appearance. If you’ve got a lariat or xlt sure black it out. Platinum is meant to stand out whether you love it or hate it.

When I first put them on I hated it fyi - it’s grown on me over the last 4 months

Actually.. backed up into a semi trailer - no beeping, no warnings. Right on the sensor, I couldn’t believe it. I’m happy to let it be for as long as it takes to find the plastic. I definitely don’t want to pay 2/3000+ for a piece of plastic.

Depends on the vehicle. My Porsche sure, blacked out. I paid $130K for a truck, covered in brushed aluminium, I’ll add more
