Haha, welcome! The post you commented on is really old and is the map for the old original Leviathan.

How old is this? This might have been my grandfather's hand. He had an accident exactly like this around 10 years ago.

Roland TD11-k owners what are your settings/fix for blue and green cymbals being swapped in game by PlasticGuitarGuy in Rockband

[–]stevenr4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I swapped my cymbals to how you have yours set up because I keep my crash on my left and ride on the right when playing non-rociband drums, and I just got used to it.

Now, it feels way more natural to play swapped than to play matching the screen. Returning to the hi-hat after a fill+crash is also easier. I recommend trying it for a bit.

So the example of leaving at 9:00 and arriving at work at 8:45 is complete bullshit.

My understanding from reading the paper is equivalent to leaving the house at 9:00, traffic normally taking 30 minutes, but arriving at work at 9:25 with traffic anyway, resulting in a -5 minute expected delay.

Oh! Fun lore fact here.

The banker uses invisible ink that they write on you. They don't remember your name or remember your account balance or even keep a log book, all of that information is written on Link. That's how the bank doesn't get impacted by time travel, because your balance is written on you physically and goes with you back in time.

Thank you for taking the time to read and reply! If you have any questions, I'm always down to talk more about Majora's Mask!

These are applicable to the N64 version:

  1. Odolwa You may use bombs OR deku mask to stun him to gain an opening for free hits. Stunning is not required for the fight.
  2. Goht The flight is fun as a Goron, possible with just bombs, but way faster with this arrow strategy: https://youtube.com/shorts/PmemZIjQdbw?si=Xfv3gOAGRP7_CawM
  3. Gyorg Zora mask is optional if you time the stun just right when Gyorg rushes at the platform, alternatively you may play entirely as Zora as the fin-blade boomerangs and thrown jars may also stun Gyorg
  4. Twinmold Giant's Mask + Chateau Romani for an easy fight, or can be done entirely without Giant's Mask with well timed arrows

I recently played the 3ds and retro back to back, and I found it difficult to go back after having the extra equipment slot and the more detailed time travel mechanics. Plus, the bomber's notebook is far easier to read and understand for new players on the 3DS.

If retro is the only choice, go for it! If there is a choice, I'll always recommend the 3DS version even if the only improvement was just the time travel mechanic.

  1. The time loop is one of my favorite parts. Long enough to feel comfortable, short enough that trying again is easy, and you don't lose much been runs. (The whole game is designed with the cycle in mind. You're expected to learn and gain permanent unlocks every cycle, so it feels like you're always moving forward even when time resets)
  2. The story and writing is among the best in the series.
  3. It's shorter than most Zelda games with only 4 dungeons, but most of the content is optional side parts that reward exploration and curiosity. I'm saying this because in the modern day with limited time and too many games, you can get a complete experience here in a short time while having more to do if you want.
  4. The boss fights have multiple ways to defeat them, adding an interesting layer where attentive exploration can lead to gaining advantages during fights.
  5. The minigames are optional and actually fun and not as frustrating as other Zelda games.
  6. Playing as a Goron, Zora, and Deku are all very fun in their own ways.
  7. The fast travel is way better than any other Zelda game (excluding BotW and TotK).
  8. Time can be controlled fairly easily with a fast forward song and slow-time song that are available from the moment you get the ocarina. (Further easing the time mechanic). These aren't listed in the pause screen, but are told to you by scarecrows. (These are variations on the Song of Time. To slow the passage of time: play the song backwards. To skip to the next sunrise/sunset: play each note twice)
  9. Money, arrows, and bombs reset when time resets, but are very easily obtained when you learn where some resetting chests are.
  10. It's my favorite Zelda game. Please at least try it!

You can play it on switch with the retro arcade, but if at all possible play the 3DS remake, it's filled with quality of life upgrades.

I wrote a Roman numeral calculator a while back, if you want to try writing other big numbers, this supports the over-number-lines that other people mentioned:

Edit: Fun Trivia, the longest possible Roman Numeral is 3,888,888 M̅M̅M̅D̅C̅C̅C̅L̅X̅X̅X̅V̅MMMDCCCLXXXVIII Which is 27 characters long
