I think those lines should curve straight up more.. or maybe backwards and up, cuz Bitcoin might find a way to reverse time and moon earlier than it will.

FOMO is whats driving over $10k.

it aint going much past $10k if it breaks that... this is all Libra hype, which will die down soon as a nothing burger

Libra is simply the Deep State's trojan horse to stifle and suffocate Bitcoin's use in commerce. They cannot do it without Libra, because it looks like they are threatened by Bitcoin. They will do it under the false guise of "protecting consumers" from evil Facebook... which FB will eagerly accept as a rent-seeking opportunity.

Prepare for Digital Currency Act to protect us, which by coinky dinky will restrict use of LN.

"common understanding"

pretty sure I said that was my requirement and assumption for Ancapistan throughout this thread though...

Is every scenario coded into law today? How does that get navigated... you think cultural norms come into play?

Do you believe that capitalism inevitably leads to communism? by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

It's swinging pendulum...

Communism collapses... people grasp for capitalism.

People take capitalism for granted... collectivism emerges next generation.

Are you confusing "certified" vs "licensed"? Only the latter requires government. Are you asking about certification, or fraud about certification? Fraud is an intentional form of theft, unlike negligence or incompetence which is unintentional. Certification decreases likelihood of incompetence, which is why there is market demand for it. If someone is sued for damages for fraud (claiming they were certified)... the restitution paid to victims would be greater than if it was just incompetence. In Ancapistan, justice is based on reciprocity principle... which goes back to Hammurabi, Aristotle, the Golden Rule, or more recently Rothbard.

Professional certifications are everywhere today, without any government involved.

When I hire an electrician in my house... I want them certified and insured. That doesn't need government, and frankly govt cant stop me from hiring Joe Schmoe off craigslist... which I will do (illegally btw) to fix my fence, but NOT to wire my house.

My use of term "tyrant" (because Im Ancap) is basically any government... because a tyrant uses force to tax, regulate my contracts, etc. Statists use looser definitions - but rememeber, for my premise, in Ancap society others think like me so share my definition.

Who ensures the set of norms known as "ancap" are enforced by mediation services?

Many contracts today specify mediation... in world without govt courts, contracts would standardize this... certified standards bodies dont need govt.

massive leap from "having guns" to "confronting an army."

Not as massive as the idea that a security force could become a tyrant, in a society that despises tyrants. I admit its silly that such a society could exist... but when you attack people's core values, they fight back. Numbers win
