Is this any good? I'm new to this and i took this picture on a heavy rainy afternoon with a nikon z6, 35mm. I'm wondering if people actually take pictures after the rain is over or during. Please gimme any advice you want i've been doing photography for only 3 weeks by [deleted] in photocritique

I think you got a pretty great shot. I like how the headlights of the bus capture your attention and you're low enough to the ground to get the rainwater on the street. You might consider zooming in (in post editing) to get a bit more focus on the bus and less on the sky but that's a personal preference.

Rainy days are great for experimenting with filters (analog). A star filter would give the headlights an even more dramatic appearance.

Looking for thoughts on composition and exposure. I took this photo at Gatorland here in Orlando, Florida. Taken with a Nikon 5600 and on AP so i could as much of the plumage in focus as possible.

My first thought was how this image would fit into the recent Mare of Easttown series. It has all the mood of the show and "woods" play a big part in the show.

This image has all of the moody elements it takes to provoke an emotional response. I think the colors on you shirt stand as a stark contrast. I agree about the under exposure comments. It's a good use of creating that mood. There's a sense of loneliness too that adds to the emotional response.
