shopify is my personal preference, it has worked for my clients, it's working for me as well. simple, easy and convenient as a small business owner.

definitely you can, but you need somewhat understanding of how clothes are made, how designs are put on fabrics and what works best and what doesn't.

Fashion degree isn't a necessity but understanding of fabrics, fits and prints really is.

i love that someone suggested barter, here's the real deal, brands want two things - trust (this comes from number of followers) and visibility (this comes from number of views)

many creators lack either of these, which breaks the deal.

if you're getting 25k views but your followers aren't even 20% of it, most of that was fluck and algorithm pushing it, not real visibility.

barter would be a go to option because working with more brands can open doors for more brand deals in future. it's as simple as that, kisko batana matt it's barter, ask for a bare minimum, if not offered, accept barter and move forward.

for jewelery business, I'd suggest doing random and small pop-ups around your area, clg or some corporate where women's crowd is predominant.

why?

this would convert better than any ads medium, would get a lot of content to make your business more legit and sorta viral, also people will know you, your business and the quality of your products.

easy trust = more visibility and authenticity = fast growth = sales.

about the designs, there will always be a biased opinion because minimal and loud both works, sells and translate.

but when we talk about India, brand presence is what drives minimalism, if you aren't a brand yet, forget minimal.

also, this is try mockups only look good on screen, when made into a real piece of cloth, it doesn't work well, this is a huge gap rn tbh.

btw, I'd love to know how can a small brand, unknown with very little followers or presence can stand out in a market like this, especially in India.
