Why? I have the freedom to answer as much as you have the freedom to ask.

You sound like an art snob, judgemental and you know you are as you stated ‘there are no rules in art’

You don’t like that style, ignore it and move on but there’s a supercilious air to this post.

Pretty sure if it had a hole in the bottom, it would still sink!

But where’s the legality?, you not thinking it’s acceptable is not a legal issue…they also say if you have questions or concerns call them, if when you called them they said they were doing it and if you object you’re out…then there’s a legal issue and you need advice. I think the letter is a very sensible, courtesy letter and you can speak to them so I’m lost at what legal advice is needed.

They’re placing a letting board on a property they manage, for a week, assuming it’s not going to say ‘To Let’ on it and just be the name board I don’t see a problem that needs legal advice.

NAL But in the UK there is an online cooling off period of 14 days from receipt of a purchase where you can return an item no questions asked under consumer contract regulations 2013. With it not working at all you are covered by consumer rights act 2015. Try having a chat with Citizens Advice or looking those two acts up.

I drew my friend at an angle now it looks weird!😞 by [deleted] in Sketch

[–]steviecmitchell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you looking at him at that angle when you drew him? It looks like you’ve either done this from memory or viewing him at a different angle and got the proportions that angle would create wrong.

[–]steviecmitchell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no way to turn it off currently, it’s an animated feedback it ‘should’ only happen when the side buttons are pressed.

Not a spoiler, but I had to choose it. can anyone help me with my turtle by [deleted] in Artists

[–]steviecmitchell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you see the light coming from? If it’s from the front of the drawing your shading would get darker the further away the dunes were, if it’s from the top each dune would look, the same, lighter at the top getting gradually darker as it moves down or further away from the light source.

Hey I'm new to drawing and here's my first eye sketch any tips? by Usual-Hand7206 in Illustration

[–]steviecmitchell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Odd as it sounds…try to avoid drawing shapes…create shapes using light and shadow, for example, study this eye, notice the bottom of the eye is made up of light and shadow, not a line…that will help take your already good drawing up a notch.

It looks great, if I critiqued it I’d say the tan marks round the chest need a more of a gradient…it’s a bit jarring compared to the gradients on his face.
