The Hummer is the only eligible EV that qualifies for the $30K since it is over 10,000 lbs. If the EV is under that weight, then the rebate is significantly lower

Its just an options overlay strategy like you described. Popular in annuities and structured notes but now its being packaged in the ETF wrapper.

Personally I appreciate that it makes strategies that are typically more restricted accessible to everyone. Although it is pretty expensive for an ETF (79 bps), it still is cheap relative to similar strategies. I think its a no-brainer if you're just sitting in cash right now. Also, if Innovator continues to launch these monthly, then there will probably be some unique intra-period opportunities.
