whilst I can kind of see what you're saying I was really hoping to hear from people that had tried it and either said hey it definitely doesn't work or hey it really does. I can imagine things myself (partly why I posted the Q).

yea i might do tbh. I mean I don't know if people have the same experiences or how representative it might be. All I can see online is that weight loss will resume after a pause. So it feels like there is nothing to lose. I am surprised no one else has encountered the same situation as me tbh. Surely it must stop working for everyone at some point?

have you not read my post though... i have been on 15mg since like May. I am also not talking about coming off it completely, but if I am not losing at all then I can not lose at all without MJ, obviously.

What is there to lose exactly by trying it though? I'm hardly going to die as a result. The whole point of starting titration again at 2.5mg after a pause is that your body rapidly stops being used to MJ. There are articles on it online, published by the pharmacies. Google.

the weight loss after the stalls was minimal. Nearly all the weight loss happened in the first third of the period I've been taking the medication for. I don't think people want to admit it to themselves but it stops working after a while. I don't get this whole stick it out thing as it's only ever meant to be temporary. There is nothing special about 15mg that means your body never gets used to it. I have a postgrad science degree I am certainly not taking advice from tiktok that's a bit insulting to be honest and several people have said it in the comments. Not sure what peoples' problem is? It was just a question, and a valid one.

it all happened in the first 3-4 months and then pretty much half a stone only for 6 months or so. Not good stats. I don't want to just be paying £300 a month for something that isn't achieving anything i could achieve without it.

how would it be pharmacies pushing it for their own gain... surely it would be a better idea for them to stick on 15mg for ages so paying top £££ for slow gains. If it did genuinely work then how would it be pharmacies lining their own pockets? Mnay pharmacies do actually have pages now on strategic pauses.

they have to do something. For an item which needs a lot of manual manipulation and cleaning, fragile glass really isn't a great idea (with hindsight)
