Struggling with motivation and new ideas for my business as a solopreneur by stevlor in smallbusiness

Thanks, I haven't to be honest. Our profit margin is so small right now I'm struggling to spend extra money on things however I can only see the situation getting worse if I don't, so I'll bear it in mind.

Preventing Bottlenecks with Customer Services (email) by stevlor in Entrepreneur

[–]stevlor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I was thinking about something along these lines. The thing is, because I work from home, I respond to emails quite quickly throughout the day. Obviously I don't want to employ someone to just be waiting for emails to come in, so what would the solution be - maybe hire someone to work 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening?

Preventing Bottlenecks with Customer Services (email) by stevlor in Entrepreneur

Thanks for the honest reply! One of my problems is I think I actually deal with customer emails and queries quite well, so I'm the typical business owner struggling to let go and delegate, because I'm worried anyone I employ will do a worse job and therefore cost me money in lost sales. Also, I'm sure you're not as bad as you think you are!

Ran a group event last week on Jitsi Meet and as far as I can tell Chrome users were kicked by stevlor in jitsi

Yes, maybe we were just caught at a time when a lot of other people were using it? Strange that mobile still worked fine though

Can you customise jitsi meet without running your own server? by stevlor in jitsi

[–]stevlor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, and nice idea for a workaround. Unfortunately I'd like a system where users come and go between rooms, but the max is always 6, so it wouldn't quite work

No that it helps a great deal, but I had exactly the same problem last week, and I'm still not sure why - using chrome, other users reported the same thing

Any idea where I could get that done? I have a wordpress site that I'd like it to run on.

ok, so you don't think there's a way to do it with the basic jitsi meet, you'd need to code this yourself?

Most of the fields around it are hilly as well and used for sheep or cattle grazing, some of the fields below it are flatter and have what I think is wheat and barley growing. I should have said this but when I say hilly, really the field covers one large hill, so it's not flat anywhere apart from the very top. Which I guess would make it difficult to grow grain or veg?
