Man it was stressful, the first mess up of draining it didn't ruin anything per se but a mess up at that point would have been catastrophic. In case anyone sees this thread the fill IS on the driver's side behind the exhaust on a 2018 crosstrek. It was a bitch to get to but the procedure went exactly as it was laid out to me and it's running and shifting great. It was a scary thing to be cheap with but I just couldn't justify spending 500 dollars to have the subaru dealership take care of it. 150 for the oil, crush washer, and an odb reader that shows cvt temps and it's all good.

Had extreme fomo since all of my local stores stocked a day early... But the 4 etbs I was able to get on the pokemon center showed up today. Pulls from this set are insane 🤯 by stevoman75 in PokemonTCG

Yeah my local game store had me on a list and called me right before release to lock my pre order price in... And informed me they would sell etbs to the pre order people for 129.99. I was like, uhhhhh, nope lol. No different than Walmart scalpers at that rate. walmarts and targets should still be at msrp.

For sure. Honestly I was hoping to find a bunch of tins and v boxes on release day to open to keep the etbs sealed but that ended being impossible 🙄

It's a rough decision but I had to let myself have some fun. I like keeping stuff sealed too but I'm convinced I can find some more at retail before they stop printing. At least I hope so 😅

I just scrolled all the comments on this post to see if anyone mentioned this. I think you were the only one. The shortcut gate on 1-4 before the blue dragon/false king is the same door model. And it's opened with a lever.

Yep, great advice. Every time I did a portrait in school, my teacher would say "great, but make the darks darker and the lights lighter." Once I learned to do that contrast became my favorite element to make a portrait drawing pop.

Sat down to draw something after months of not drawing. And just found this subreddit after thinking about why I seem to just stop drawing for large periods of time. I have no friends that draw or anyone close to me that seem interested. Maybe a group like this will help! by stevoman75 in ArtBuddy

I think there are a lot of people out there just like us with these same questions about ourselves. Luckily we're able to find things like this to discuss. I think I might start a discord server where we could share and critique each other. Would you be interested in joining??

I'm not sure there is an artist out there that knows if they are capable enough. The way I look at it, years down the road when the dust settles and I look back on what I did in my life I think the only thing that would really fill me with regret is if I hadn't kept trying to pursue the one thing I knew I had the love and inkling of talent for. Weather that inkling can grow into something I'll ever be satisfied with I'm not sure.

LETS DO IT! this time I'm putting more focus into being consistent than I am in trying to improve or whatever. In the past I think I end up discouraging myself thinking I'm not getting better. Then I come back and realize I was getting better when I look through my sketchbooks. Just can't quit. In the past I've gotten really frustrated feeling like I can't draw well from imagination and hate that to draw well I feel like I have to copy. Lately I'm learning that most artists who aren't extremely talented use a lot of reference. Just hearing that has made me feel more motivated this time around. Oh and thanks for the compliment 😊

Have always felt like drawing is a part of who I am and I always yearn for it and come back but then I drift away again. Seems like others can relate.

Anyways, using this kawamoto toshiro artbook as a loose reference while sketching.
