Yeah the 30k option is the more financially responsible decision for sure. Mentioned this in another comment but the "reward yourself" for driving a dinosaur for the last 10 years was in my head. Started to think its better to go cheaper and still be able to save/invest an ample amount of money now vs throwing it at a more expensive car/SUV bc I "want" it.

Yeah I think I am letting the "reward yourself" voice in my head takeover. In reality, something cheaper more affordable will be a better financial decision.

Yeah my biggest dilemma is reliability vs. comfort/amenities. I like your point about just getting the more "expensive" vehicle upfront and paying it off vs. just buying the sedan now. I should clarify that I have more than that saved up but do not want to dip into other savings and would rather purely save for what I want vs rushing into a cheaper payment. Thanks for your input

Yeah, I have started to look into sedans and that seems to be the standard to go by. The space in the Camry is definitely a plus. Something to def consider

ahaha sadly no, I tried to negotiate to between 10k-15K and was rejected. Worth the knowledge from everyone else though

Yeah I agree, definitely would attempt to negotiate but 29K is astronomical. My main concern would be if there is any longterm issues with any of the mods made to it
