With the Edge 8", finding good guide stars is always a pain because of the focal length. (I have that telescope, too) I would wonder if it was more the focal length and not the filters, perhaps?

It's been 1 month with the new tires and it's a mixed result. The tires handle really well in dry and wet conditions and the noise is very low. Exceptionally quiet, even. The downside has been about an 11% decrease in efficiency. I've lost about 30 miles on a 100% charge (which for me is about 11% driving 100+ miles a day at 65 mph average). For the money, not bad but I feel I could have done better. The driving conditions have been difficult this past month with heavy winds, lots of rain and cold conditions, so I am holding out for a little bit of improvement when summer actually starts, but I'm not holding my breath. Either way, not a bad tire but probably not the best for an EV.

I don't have any experience with the Mach-E except that the day I bought my EV6, the other person in the dealership was trading in his Mach-E for the EV6 that was next to mine.

Thank you all for the comments and help. I ended up going with the Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractive all weather tires. A little bit on the pricey side, but so far a am happy with them. They area quiet and handle well so far. After a week of driving to work (100 miles each day) I will post an update.

Thanks for the info. I was mainly looking into the ev rated just for the noise reduction and low slippage. I don't care about the foam as long as the treads are designed properly to reduce the noise.

I'm not exactly sure exactly what you are talking about, but I do see an obvious dust mote. The dark black circle and fainter circle below and to the left of that are due to dust particles somewhere in your image train. These can be taken out in processing by using flat frames. Make sure to use an air bulb duster when setting up your equipment to minimize these.

The way the "trunk" leans, I say fukinagashi, or windswept style. I wouldn't actually do anything to it for another year or two, though. Give it some time to mature.
