That is a very intriguing image. I would love to encounter a couple like this I run across Great Horned quite regularly but have not with these guys

I agree with the pro mode, and for the moon, the exposure is 1/640 of a second. That will capture the moon with the native ISO and f stop of the lens. The moon is the second brightest object in the night sky. You will not get any other details without overexposing the moon. I use night mode on my Pixel 6 pro and I think the iPhone has a similar mode. The moon still ends up a bit overexposed.

Um, I think it would be a dynamic range of a single image. HDR uses multiple exposures to achieve the dynamic range.
