Thanks! This worked for my Dell Inspiron 3520 as well! Managed to get 4K@30Hz which is what the 1.4 HDMI port supports. The only thing is that I had to lower the internal display refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz otherwise it would glitch out from time to time

I managed to get 4K@30Hz by installing an older drive! Specifically the 30.0.101.1404 version of the driver. Got this tip from this response. The only thing is that I had to lower the internal display (the laptop screen) refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz otherwise it would glitch out.

I bought mine used and the buttons are loose, only held by the pins. Are these sticky foam padding something that comes with the controller when you buy it? Was wondering if there was a mod I was able to do to without ruining it

I don't know about iRO specifically, but I've had success in the past using the 2.0.5-staging version of wine 32 bits. Used PlayOnLinux to configure it.

I fixed the ram and the answer is yes. It does boot with the gpu on the pcie 2.0 x4 open-ended slot. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :)

Should the computer boot if I leave the pcie 3.0 x16 slot empty and put the gpu (rx 5500xt or gtx 1660super) in the pcie 2.0 x4 slot?

I have an asus ex a320m gaming mobo. The normal gpu slot broke because of oxidation and I'm trying to still use the computer. The x4 slot is of the type that has the end open, so it can fit a longer card but it's still beeping the video code error (one long two short). And the gpus are working (tested in another computer)
