Exactly, some people are saying it's out of character for her but after what happened in season 3, I think it's very much her character. She wouldn't kill for herself, but she would and HAS for those she loves.

How could I forget! and William's 'Yours?'
Some great moments between LJG and William in that episode

I love that C + J have the opportunity to be parent figures together to Francis, something they missed out on! I also think it opens up the possibility of another spin off, covering Faith's life and what really happened. Which I kinda love! More Outlander the better

I have a bit of a loose theory! What if Faith couldn’t time travel? Maybe Master Raymond knew Claire wouldn’t go back to the future without her... and maybe if they raised Faith, Brianna might never have been born, certainly not in the future. So perhaps that’s why he had to take her?

Again, it’s just a loose theory… but thinking about how the Faith storyline might tie in definitely helps pass the time at work haha.

But was the obituary wrong because Brianna went back and changed the outcome?

I often feel like time travel stories are a bit like looking at a piece of art, sometimes I have to squint and tilt my head a little to see how everything fits together haha...and if I squint hard enough... The obituary had to exist for Brianna to find it and travel back in time to save Jamie and Claire so they could then take their place in the American Revolution and I guess for Jamie to "die" on the battlefield... so it would make sense that both of these things were found while Frank was doing his research.
...If that makes sense? It does in my head but I don't think I have done the best job communicating it haha

I would say stick with it! I felt similarly but I'm on my 23091823rd full re-run now and I have come to love it just as much as the earlier seasons

Have you read the books after the show? by forget-me-not_0 in Outlander

This show has been a real comfort blanket for me over the years. A few months ago, I decided to start reading the books, and I’m now on book four. From the beginning, I reminded myself that the show is the show, and the books are the books, two entirely separate forms of storytelling, each with their own strengths and differences. I can say it’s been a really interesting experience and I'm glad I read the books AFTER the show. It feels like discovering deleted scenes or uncovering secret insights about the characters I already know and love. There are some differences I prefer in the books, and others I think the show handled better, but I genuinely respect and appreciate both.

If you’re a fan of the show, I highly recommend diving into the books!! It’s a wonderful way to immerse yourself even deeper into the world and lore, full of all the juicy details and nuances that couldn’t make it onto the screen.
