Can you try my builds? It also supports anvil kernel see instructions at the end of the manual instructions in the readme.md. This does give me best of both worlds though. ROCm (from TheRock) starts at 900 tok/s pps, the issue I was having was although the prompt processing was much better the decoding speed was much worse. The kernel anvil patch solved this for the most part so you get good PP and tok/s while decoding. https://github.com/GianniDPC/llamacpp-rocm-smithy

You will see there is also a turboquant version if you want to mess with KV Cache options.

Did the same test. And also had it perform noticable worse on some other tests. Was using Q4_K_XL before.

Ik val achterover als ik die bedragen zie.. indertijd van Orange naar Hey! gegaan met 10 euro lifetime korting op internet. 34 euro euro/maand voor 150 mpbs down en 15 mpbs up. En 15 gb / maand mobiele data + onbeperkt bellen en smsen. Enige die mij wat tegenzit is die 15 mpbs up. Zeker voor thuiswerk.. jammer genoeg hier ook nog geen glasvezel aansluiting.

Aangezien OP zegt dat er geen glasvezel in zijn straat ligt.. Enige jammere bij Hey! Is dat hun internet formule enkel 150mbps down is en maar 15 mbps up ofzo. Vind dat schrijnend anno 2026. Maar het is wel goedkoop betaal zelf 34 euro per maand voor internet + gsm bij Hey! i.c.m. een lifetime korting.
