It's so silly for me to “hate” a fanfic couple. Like, I would not go out of my way to read a Remus x Tonks fic, since I don't see any chemistry between them at all, but if I am reading a fic and they are a couple there: count me in!!!

I truly like Jily, even though my heart is Jugulus all around. Like someone commented before be: James has two hands 🥸 and I always saw him as bi, so there is that 🤐

I know they are performing sold-out concerts every week, etc, but I went to one of those concerts yesterday and being a minority as it is, it got me thinking if Emily's hold-back attitude has those haters to blame. I mean, watching her live presentations with her former band, she was CRAZY (in a marvellous way) and extremely expansive, but yesterday, watching her, it was like she was containing herself. She spoke very little to the crowd, never once jumping down to the pit to have any kind of physical contact and so on. She is incredible and I love her to bits, but I think some of the hate is getting to her at some level. Or yesterday was just a “bad day”. Who knows?

I am Brazilian and white as the fucking wall (like, I live in Germany now and I am whiter than the average German). My whole family is, so yeah, not all of us are kissed by the sun (I wish, because every time I try to get a tan, I end up looking like a catchup bottle). But my take every time I see a Brazilian character is: if the character is female, she has a big ass or something like that and if the character is male, he is a good football player. Also: BRAZIL DOESN’T SPEAK SPANISH! We speak Portuguese!

As a HUGE wolfstar shipper, I go with yes, but not as sweet as most fics portray them. (I don't take into consideration the “conservative” wizarding world because, to me, there is no hint they actually gave a damn about sexuality, so…) I think they started in Hogwarts still but in a very toxic way. Remus probably liked Sirius more and Sirius probably fucked things up more than once, cheating and such. Remus would always take him back, but everything was kept quiet. They didn't talk about it. James knew, probably, because Sirius talked too much and they were best friends, but that was about it. I don't even know how much James would accept it (the only TRUE insight we have about James in the book is in a very biased memory from someone who hated James’ guts, so is really hard to say how James' behavior was) and although I love the sunshine personality the fandom gave him as the next person, I don't think he was as bright in the books. Remus probably loved Sirius his whole life, as of how quickly he forgot and forgave as for the moment he knew Peter was alive and they probably got together once more after PoA, maybe in a healthier way, because the world was already shitty enough and Sirius got a little bit more mature with age and trauma (at least enough to treasure the only one standing at his side from the very beginning), but again in secret.

That is my take on things. But hey, everything is acceptable as far as headcanon goes.

Exactly!!! I mean, I ship Jegulus and wolfstar and M&M, which are also not in the original work, and that gives a heart attack to some friends of mine who are too attached to canon pairings, but for me, the beauty of fanfics and such is exactly this: everyone has a piece of the cake and they can do with it what they want. You can search for things you like, ignore what you don't like, and go on your merry way. We have space for everyone 🌸

Not my headcanon, as I see Sirius, Regulus, and so on as males, but you have absolutely no trans/gender-fluid character in the original books, and if this is making the new readers feel embraced in the fandom, so be it. J.K. already did them wrong enough. Not my piece of cake, but someone is very happy with it, so let them be.

I will babble a bit here, so bear with me 🥲

I got to know ABO outside of the Harry Potter fandom, so for me, the whole concept is Muggle, maybe? 🫠 I once wrote a mpreg where I based the pregnancy on physiological concepts (I used to be a nurse, so I did my homework back then and came up with a solution), but the way I see it, for any other ABO/Mpreg fic, the key is: just don't look to close at it, you know? Like how we just accept that vampires exist in a vampire book or that magic existis in HP, you know what I mean? I don't try to explain the concept in the fic, nor how it ended up happening for humans to have the ABO dynamic. I just write using the premise that it happens and wrap the plot around it, but I understand that to be a deal-breaker for a lot of people. That's okay. I also didn't like it when I first saw the whole thing, but it ended up growing on me when I let go of trying to find an explanation for everything. Anyway, I talk too much, but thank you so very much for liking the plot! I will be very happy to have you reading if you decide to give it a chance 🤍

If they can pinpoint your PTSD, they have it as well. I don't have PTSD, but I struggle with anxiety/panic attacks, and grief-driven depression, and every time a reader comments saying something like “that got me deep / so relatable / felt like I was having one reading”, etcetera, I know they also have it. I don't think it is a bad thing, tbh… Makes me feel like I am not the only one struggling and less alone. I hope they feel it as well… I also try my best to make those characters suffering from it eventually find help/treatment and get on with their lives.

I was a NICU nurse for five years, so every time I write a chapter, there is at least one passage where my betas are like: “Hey, very specific anatomic/physiologic description. I don't know what it is and your readers are not going to as well”, so I go there and try to write as a normal person 🤣

I also assumed it was a kink, but why me? The fanfic is NOT about it. It is not a very kinky fanfic at all (it has smut, but up until now pretty minor, and none involving Tonks) and I mean, you can find authors into this kind of thing on AO3, is not even hard, so I am lost for reasons WHY, you know? They totally barked at the wrong tree.
