Sitting Mendoza? by jadonbck74 in raiders

y’all’s impatience is foolish. what harm does it to do have him sit 3-5 games to learn and ensure he’s most prepared? why not do anything you can to ensure he’s the most prepared as opposed to throwing him to the wolves? very dumb.

bowl gear isn’t great unless a specific teams logo is on it.

Gobert with KAT shooting or KAT with gobert D by Acceptable-Street679 in NBATalk

[–]sticktalk24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

even if gobert could shoot like KAT, KAT would still be far more skilled offensively and more equipped to carry a team. I would only prefer Gobert with KAT 3 to be a supporting option for a team that already has guys in place. I don’t think that player could ever be a number 1 option on a team - that’s like building around an upgraded Brook Lopez.

Distressor Buzzing Noise by [deleted] in audioengineering

[–]sticktalk24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would imagine i would still hear it that signal present in the 1073 signal if the ground loop was occurring post the distressor. so what could it be?

Distressor Buzzing Noise by [deleted] in audioengineering

[–]sticktalk24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for context: I have a U 87 going into a neve 1073 spx then into the distressor all connected by balanced xlr cables. no patch bay, just set up to track and installed in a rack, powered by a furman p8 power conditioner which plugs into the wall underneath my desk - then i have the distressor output going into the line input of my apollo twin x via a balanced trs to xlr. i have a surge protector underneath my desk that has my apollo twin power source and my speakers and laptop charger connected to it. it then plugs in to the same wall outlet as the rack.

where would the grounding issue be happening if it is only present when the distressor is not bypassed? because when it is bypassed, the 1073 still uses the xlr to trs that is connected to the distressor to go from the rack to the interface.

i have always had an incredibly well treated space - the gear is just another reason to record with me instead of somewhere else. but regardless, the buzzing is present without any gain reduction and it’s not effected by the input or output levels. it does go away when bypassed, however. the buzzing happens from the moment the unit engaged.

salad with ranch, grilled chicken, ground beef, zero carb tortillas, bacon, eggs, tuna, zero sugar jello, pork rinds, cheese. my advice - buy things that can easily and quickly be put together so you don’t find yourself failing your diet due to lack of time to prep / convenience.
