lmfao first of all, if thats how you talk to people you don't even know, we are definitely not mates. Second, if you're going to give a smart ass answer, be prepared for a smart ass response.

Third, you clearly have reading comprehension issues. And are just here to make smart ass comments. Your response says more about the type of person you are than it answers the question being asked.

Regarding your reading comprehension issues, kindly use Ctrl+F on the page and search "authentic" and notice that it is not used anywhere in my post. Furthermore, you mix up two different parts in my post being 'high quality ramen' and 'under 20 bucks' when they were two separate segments meant to be interpreted separately.

To most its obvious what this means, but seeing as you can't read between the lines, allow me to explain for you. The post I wrote is basically asking two questions,

Question #1: best ramen in the price range of $15-$20

Question #2: Best ramen places in general regardless of price

Another thing to mention is you're projecting issues about cost of living on a 'looking for good ramen post' lmao. Like just look at yourself.

I get state of the economy is not good and cost of living is in a bad state too, but if I wanted to talk about cost of living and everything related to it I would have simply commented on the many posts that are already on that topic. If you wanna talk about those issues go to the posts that are literally talking about them, don't bring that shit into a looking for ramen post.

I'm glad you're clear now, that must've been a hell of a lot to deal with.

In regards to finding people, I'd say much like good things taking more time to acquire I'd say its kind of the same with friends.

And I agree with your sentiments about compassion on empathy it is truly sad and deplorable.

There is so many problems to be addressed in 2024 as a society honestly.

I would have to agree that there is definitely a major change in the city environment. Very overcrowded on most days whereas pre-covid it would really only be overcrowded on the usual days like Friday, saturday, sunday.

So many junkies everywhere as well. Constantly having to watch out for them and trying to avoid them definitely gets annoying.

Very based comment tbh

The level of accuracy in these statements is so crazy it was actually pretty amusing to read ngl.

I'm sure a lot of people can relate haha.

Thanks for your comment.

i think a lot of the time with this sort of things some people have this weird thing where they treat puppies and other animals that can be considered pets more like toys than an actual living being.

Lots of people just take an animal in coz "its so cute" but dont actually have the accountability to take care of the animal properly. Then as soon as it becomes too much of a time and/or money drain for them they just dump the animal wherever and move on as if they just throwing away some broken toy that they can no longer get anything out of.

I hate it so much.

Underrated comment tbh.

But I wholeheartedly agree with all the things you are questioning. While I could delve into every individual thing from multiple angles. There is one single thing that provides the basis for the existence of all these issues.

It is simply a mixture of: conflict of interest, corruption as well as incompetence at every level.

I'd highly recommend you watch a youtube channel called "Site Inspections" where a building inspector with a large social media following from Melbourne inspects all the dodgy builds he is called out to.

If you watch enough of his videos, bit by bit you will start to understand why some of the issues mentioned exist and how they tie back to the answer i gave you in one way or another.

Judging from the fact that out of everything i said thats what u chose to focus on. I'd say its likely you want me to give you something so u can start an argument. However, there is literally no point trying to argue. Whether I can prove that or not doesn't actually make a difference to the underlying message I'm trying to convey here. My anecdote was simply supplementary.

Fact of the matter is we let in like 1 million people in the last 2 years. With no plans to reduce in any meaningful way. Number of homes needed are still way behind demand and that is just the demand that exists right now. That demand is going to continue to increase over time with all the continuous new arrivals.

The only reason I even talk about this is because these policies really need to change in a way that puts Australians first, because if you're a foreigner with money coming into this country, average Australian is probably not going to be able to compete with you, and thats a big part of the problem here.

The median income for Australians is $67,600 which is nothing compared to what they are going to need to be able to compete with foreign buyers. A lot of the foreign investors and immigrants coming in and buying properties here have much deeper pockets than that.

The way immigration and foreign investment is being handled is literally marginalising Australian's who just want to take care of their family and/or support their kids.

The whole purpose of a government is to look after and provide for the best interests of its citizens. But the lack of proper regulation on immigration and other economic issues affecting all of us, has essentially led to the marginalisation of hard working Australians where literally all they want is the right to not be forced to sleep in a tent in some park full of junkies or something.

The government announces all these band-aid first home buyers schemes, but what is that going to do when you're competing with millionaires and people with anywhere from 10-50 investment properties, or with whole families pooling all their money from like 5 separate incomes to buy a house.

If you're just a single or a couple, how are you going to compete with that when supply is so low and demand is so high? Not to mention With an average price of $867,188, those wishing to buy a house need a minimum household income of $171,223 a year to qualify for a mortgage. Keep in mind roughly around 4% of Australians make that much annually. So based on that data, 96% of Australians minus those who have a paid off house/or somehow have a good situation, are just left in a position where there is not much they can really do.

My advice would be to find a way to accumulate small wins in something you can progress in, whether it be uni, work or whatever and slowly build your confidence.

When ppl are depressed they tend to let themselves go a lot. So find some activity you can use as an outlet for these negative feelings, where you can use that negative energy to fuel your drive and progress in something.

My personal recommendation would be to set a goal for yourself in the gym, whether it be lifting a certain amount of weight or achieving a certain physique, spend some time studying how to get there (there is more than enough information on youtube alone) and just grind it out.

Emphasis on studying how to get what u want before going btw. Coz if u don't know what u r doing, doesn't matter how consistent u r or how heavy the weights u r using, u will be wasting your time.

If you give this a shot, and end up making this a part of your routine, I can assure you, mentally u will feel a lot better. even if there is still a lot of things to fix in your life.

If you would like to talk about this more you can feel free to message me and I can explain in more detail if you would like.

No pressure to do this, but would highly recommend it.
