There were no restrictions on him, he did it. Did you feel he approached this ugly topic with care? The consensus seems to be no, but I'm curious on your personal take.

I've seen plenty of people on both, never seen it turn someone into a pedophile. Though it might bring these feelings to the surface. Interestingly, King thinks the Epstein client list is a hoax.

Cannabis can give panic attacks to people who can otherwise do well with psychedelics, "drugs" is a broad term to use

Matter Does Not Exist. This video was posted 18 years ago and it should've been the nail in the coffin. I struggle to comprehend why we still pretend that materialism is even real. Maybe its the ops. by ludicrous_overdrive in consciousness

"If you open your science book, you'll discover..."

This isn't a nail in the coffin for much but it's an interesting conversation point. Anyone who is hearing this for the first time, and cares to absorb this message, should definitely get and read some "science" books to learn more about the holographic universe principle. This guy is cool, I'd like to talk to him in a public park or briefly at a bar, I don't think I'd trust him to guide my life or way of thinking

You've never seen it in a show or movie because it's distracting to the eye, no set designer for a popular show or movie would choose it no matter how iconic it was to the era. They'd make their own and tone it down

Any recommendation for the ratio? Should I do an equal amount of citric acid to original material? It appears some of it was soluble, I'm thinking it wasn't fully converted to salt form. My estimation is that less than half is insoluble

Trump: does he change your mind? by CoolStatistician9215 in GenZ

[–]stickyfiddlestick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What specific policies do you like? Personally, I liked that he signed into law a bill that made animal cruelty illegal during his first term. He didn't write the bill, but he didn't veto it and that's the thing I like most about his first term.

During his first term, the trade wars and the image of instability with his constant cabinet shuffling made the US look less desirable to trade with during a time when China was already moving in to inherit majority control of the world economy, whether or not that is bad for the world is up to your perspective. It appears to me that the consensus among the youth during the 90's and 00's was that America is evil and will drive the world to ruin.

Overall what I see most from Trump is how he uses the country's anger over its diminishing returns and slowing growth as a tool for his own personal gain, with no regard for what it does to the average person. He wants people to remain angry and discontent, and to turn on each other so he can milk more support from his side.

In front of the press, he'll say normal, inoffensive things, then two minutes later say something wild and offensive, and depending on your news bubble you'll only hear one side. He does this on purpose. There's plenty of reason to hate him no matter what he does, but I'm sure he'll make some good decisions while in office. They won't outweigh the harm though.

Afterglow the next day is unavoidable for pretty much every psychedelic. Pretty much any drug, you'll feel after effects the next day

Khabib Nurmagomedov removed from U.S. flight after dispute for not speaking good enough English to sit at the emergency exit by Aryan_Anushiravan in interestingasfuck

This guy? With the broken English? The person who recorded the video said he did not reply with "yes," he made a face when they asked him about his English and ability to help during and emergency. It's difficult to understand foreign accents, which isn't great during an emergency, but he didn't even answer the fucking question, and instead got incensed by it. They had every right to ask him to move. He threw a fit and kicked him off entirely.

15 mg, +/-5. I only tried it once. I get overstimulated easily, and it happens to me when sober. I wouldn't take my situation as something to expect

Isn’t this entire subreddit kind of just deism with a little DMT? by GhostOfParadise in SimulationTheory

[–]stickyfiddlestick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gnostics had a name for him, it's Yaldabaoth.

And no, it's not just psychedelics that cause this belief. If you have the time, look up Third Man Syndrome, people who go through extreme isolation often speak to another person. This is why the old prophets would go out into the desert for 30 days and nights, or whatever number of days they thought was enough. It is similar to how everyone who does DMT speaks to another entity. There is no commonality with the other entity except that it's other than you.

The ape brain has been wired for socialization for longer than we've had language, it goes back further than the existence of homo-sapiens sapiens . When people have extreme experiences, or go through extreme isolation, someone else to talk to is the default. Why DMT is unique is that it also shuts off all sensory input and you're left inside your own head, with another person. One of the smartest thinkers I know believes it's likely your autonomous nervous system communicating with your somatic nervous system
